The Lake Wales Public Library will host a three-week Intermediate Knitting Class beginning Friday, March 1, 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the library’s main lobby area. The classes will run simultaneously each Friday evening through March 15.
Knitter, Stephanie Carcano, will lead the Intermediate Knitting Class. Students will learn how to read a knitting pattern, what the mysterious abbreviations and symbols in a pattern mean and how to create several different stitches including cable and lace. Knowledge of basic knitting skills is required.
Open to all ages; an adult must accompany children and pre-teens.
Each class is $20 for the three-week series. Payment is required at registration. The supplies will be provided by the library. |
