Log Into My Account

Public
Access Computers The library has eight
public access Internet stations. Patrons are
allotted thirty minutes on a computer. We
have one fifteen minute express station. A
Polk County Library Cooperative card is
required to log onto the computers. $1 guest
passes are available for out of county and
out of state visitors. Guest passes are
valid for three consecutive days. Children
twelve and under must be accompanied by a
parent or guardian to utilize the public
access computers. All children under
seventeen years of age must have a signed
parental agreement to use the Internet.
These are available at the reference desk.
We have one computer for the use of
Microsoft Office programs only. This
computer does not have Internet access and
it is open to all ages without the consent
of a parent or guardian. We offer printing
for $.20 per page. We do not offer color
printing. In addition, we provide a copy
machine with copies at $.20 per page or $.15
per page, if making more than ten copies.
Ear phones must be used to access volume on
our computers. Ear buds are available for
purchase at the reference desk for $1.50.

Wireless
Internet The Lake Wales Public Library
offers wireless Internet access for personal
laptop computers and devices. Patrons can
access the library’s wireless connection
from anywhere inside the building. No
passwords are required and all visitors are
welcome to use the wireless service.
*Patrons are not able to print from their
personal laptops. The library does not
provide a wireless printer.

Microfilm/Microfiche A
microfilm/microfiche machine is available
for public use. For our complete list of
newspapers available for the machine, please
click here.

Copy Machine We provide a copy
machine with copies at $.20 per page, or $.15
per page, if making more than ten copies. We
do not offer color copies.

Laminating Services Laminating is done at
the circulation/font desk $.50 small item
$1.50 8.5” x 11” $1.50 per foot 22” wide

Faxing Services The Lake Wales
Public Library offers faxing services to the
public. Faxes are sent at the reference desk.
Outgoing faxes are $3.00 for the first page
and $1 for each additional page. Incoming
faxes are .50 per page. There is no charge for
cover sheets on outgoing or incoming faxes. We
accept cash or check only. Debit/credit cards
are NOT accepted A valid PCLC library card
with fines of under $5 is required if paying
with a check.

Yearbooks
We offer Lake Wales High School Crown Jewel
yearbooks for in- house viewing only,
meaning yearbooks do not check out. We have
the following years : 1941, 1946, 1948,
1949, 1950, 1951, 1952, 1953,1955,1956,
1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963,
1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970,
1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977,
1978, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985,
1986, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993

IRS Tax Forms The library
provides most IRS tax forms and
tax instruction books to the
public. If there is a particular
tax form that you need that we
do not have, we can print a copy
from www.irs.gov (if applicable)
for $.20 per page.

Ye Olde Book Shoppe
The Lake Wales Library Association
has created a special corner in
the library. A quiet place for
book lovers to search for
treasures that are too wonderful
to pass up. The Ye Olde Book
Shoppe is a used bookstore full of
hardback books, paperback books,
children's books, large print
books and reference materials all
reasonably priced. It is open
during regular library hours.
Visit this unique used bookstore
corner, located in the Lake Wales
Public Library. Donations accepted
daily.
