Administration of City Elections
The City Clerk is the Chief Elections Officer of the City and conducts all city elections.
Date of Elections
City elections are always held on the first Tuesday in April.

ResourcesThere are three seats up for election on April 2, 2019.
- Mayor Seat 1 At-Large
- Seat 2 District 19
- Seat 4 District 27
There will also be a referendum on the ballot Proposing that the terms of office for the commission members and mayor be increased from two years to three years, beginning with commission seats two and four for the 2019 municipal election; for commission seats three and five for the 2020 municipal election; and for the mayor with the 2021 municipal election.
Candidate Packets will be available for pickup on Friday February 1, 2019.
Qualifying will begin Monday February 11, 2019 at noon and end Friday February 15, 2019 at noon.

All registered voters residing in the city will vote for City Commission, Mayor, and local issues at these locations regardless of where they vote in county, state, or national elections.
